WILL THE HANDLE FIT THE EYE OF THE TOOL/HAMMER?

Read these Tips for Selecting Fiberglass Handles:

 Nupla chart

Fiberglass handles need to have 1/8" space around the handle to allow for the glue. Measure your eye size and make sure the handle you select has at least a 1/8" space around the handle. More space is OK.

For example: If your eye size is 1" by 1/2" add 1/4" (1/8" times 2 sides) to each major and minor dimension i.e. Handle needs to be 1" plus 1/4" (1 1/4" major) and 1/2" plus 1/4" (3/4" minor) equals 1 1/4" by 3/4" handle dimension. In this example, you need the 118, 122 or 140 Glass Size- IP 118, IP122 or IP140 SKU.

One BK-24 epoxy kit comes free with each Nupla handle. I suggest getting an extra kit.

 To replace a fiberglass handle:

1. Tape the bottom of the hammer head with masking tape.
2. Mix the two part epoxy- THOROUGHLY.
3. Pour some epoxy into the head.
4. Place the handle into the head, and secure the handle to something (you will need to rig a jig).
5. Pour the rest of the epoxy around the handle.
6. DO NOT DISTURB FOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS, LONGER IF LESS THAN 70 DEGREES.
